The Creative subwoofer

The Final System

My PC workstation is now complete! I've resolved my exposure to carpal tunnel syndrome. I have a great entertainment centre to accompany my daily work (thanks to my Creative 2.1 speakers and Hauppauge USB TV tuner). I have speech recognition going with my array microphone.

I'm web conferencing-enabled with my Watchport/V webcam (which uniquely has superb low-light performance).

I'm connected wirelessly to my new 802.11g Linksys router. I can print to my print server (Wolverine).

With DVDShrink and DeepBurner or ImgBurn, I'm set to rip DVD movies and make limitless copies.

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Where's Aero Glass???

After installing Vista Home Premium, I discovered that Aero Glass is NOT the default graphical desktop. I had to explicitly choose "Windows Aero" from Appearance Settings (the default is "Windows Vista Basic."

How do you like my workspace?
